recapturing your creative spirit

"When I was a child I thought as a child, but when I became a man..." I didn't change a darn thing. This is about recapturing, harnessing, and pursuing our original (natural) creative spirit.  Everyone has one. Yours might be a bit rusty, not lost.

This is a recent vid of Craig McNair Wilson doing a talk (Recapturing Your Creative Spirit) at Denver Academy, which I heard at least ten years ago in Anaheim, California. He has frequently challenged and inspired me to 'live actual size' and to say, "yes, and..."

At one time he worked for the Disney Corporation as one of their lead idea engineers and then moved on to Imaginuity. The story behind his creation of a Villains Lair store (now known as Le Bat en Rouge) in Disneyland is deeply inspiring.  McNair is one of the most creative and dynamic individuals I know.

We need more of this kind of thinking in our churches and institutions. "In the beginning God created" why don't we reflect that character in our lives, worship and communities?

Grab a cup of coffee/tea, sit back and be inspired!!
